Influenced by jazz, singing cowboys, Jimmie Rodgers, and Marty Robbins, Don's travels took him from New Jersey to Six Flags over Texas. On the road and back again he played the White Elephant Saloon in Ft. Worth. Up and down the trails to Elko, Nevada, he paid his dues.
